The couples who choose for their wedding the castle of Rocca d’Ajello, will find themselves living in a new dimension: as you can see from the picture above, no modern buildings ruin the harmony of the bucolic landscape, traffic noises can’t spoil the quiet of the place, all you can hear are birds singing! And then there are the flowers: they rule the place, smothering the severe medieval architectures with their exuberant blooms, and offering a romantic background for the photos of the event.

The Orchard garden takes visitors from the parking area to the house through a scented and coloured path, while the garden of the Castle provides a unique background for cocktails before lunch or dinner. Three large medieval halls with vaulted stone ceilings offer ample inside accomodation: the Armoury Hall and the Varano Horseguards Hall can each sit 220 people, while the Carriage Hall can sit about 50. The availability of large  indoor spaces provides ideal solutions in case of cold or bad weather, without the use of expensive marquees. One of the halls can be used for cocktails first and for dancing after dinner, while the other one will be laid for lunch or dinner.

During the summer guests can dine and dance in the large paved courtyard enclosed by the castle walls. Usually the cake is cut on the antique stone well. Our clients are free to choose their caterer and the venue provides visiting chefs with kitchens equipped with industrial appliances, as well as  chairs and rectangular and round tables.On the first floor a series of furnished rooms houses a collection of landscapes by Francesco Vitalini, painter and engraver (1865-1905), great uncle of the actual owners. There is also a nursery full of toys to entertain the younger guests, who can play or have their meal there with special staff to look after them.
